Hello World!
I am not a writer like many great ones here are. I have only ever scribbled in a journal my thoughts. I am homeless and just maybe want to share some observations here and there. Thanks!
I saw the gentrification of the “great outdoors”. I saw fellow humans arrested for vagrancy in towns not to far away from their home. I know several people that have had their vehicles towed with all of their belongings in them and destroyed.
All these things are completely hidden from sight of every day people. Seniors on a fixed income, homeless disabled people that cant work, kids run away from home, and the romanticized image one has when they think of living in a vehicle = van life when in reality vehicle dwelling is entirely depressing and a sad reality so many people in the USA face. Many of these people are preyed upon.
So yeah, I think that’s the type of stuff I want to write about here. I don’t have anyone else to talk to about this subject and maybe if I scream into the void on here I can make another person understand and possibly see these things, because nobody else talks about them.
